The author talks about the mobile technology program of King County Library System, a library system serving the residents of King County, Washington, which has been serving refugee centers in some form since 2006. She shares her experience working with refugees through library-based computer classes using the curriculum designed for native English speaking patrons. She outlines the essence of opening dialogue directly with residents and having a flexible set of training options in the service.
