- Abstract
This text is the result of the research project entitled "Contemporary Master in Colombia: Conditions and configurations", developed in the Master's Degree in Education of the Universidad Pedagogica Nacional on the problematization of the forms that the contemporary teacher acquires in Colombia and the relationships between knowledge, power and subjectivity that make them possible. In this sense, the appropriation of methodological and conceptual tools from the archaeological-genealogical perspective makes it possible to visualize three dimensions in the configuration of the teacher: 1) subjective, as a participant in the constitution of oneself through research, writing and reflection practices; 2) professionalizing, within the framework of the discourse of educational quality, the formation of competencies for life and learning throughout life; 3) collective, from teacher organizations that seek to become an alternative to political power and educational policy strategies.
