- Abstract
The article offers information on the effect of the wildfire smoke on the air quality due to climate change. Topics discussed include increasing frequency of smoke-related pollution, concerns of the public health officials and physicians about the toxicity of wildfire smoke which composition smoke depends on the fuel types and the meteorological conditions; and children with asthma and cystic fibrosis at risk of developing acute exacerbations when exposed to wildfire smoke.
