- Abstract
The authors reflect on the potential benefit of centralized clinical laboratory in overcoming the challenges related to the diagnosis and monitoring of very rare bleeding disorders (RBDs) in the U.S. They assert that the establishment of central laboratory function in haematology with expertise in the different types of assays for RBDs, such as enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay may offer more accurate and reliable diagnostic tests would support public health and product surveillance.
