- Abstract
The article discusses potential of single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) for empowering clinical implementation of personalized medicine. Topics discussed include inferring of mutations and copy number variations directly from mRNA, resolving each individual malignant, parenchymal and genes with scRNA-seq for tumor rather than seeing the average mRNA expression for cells, and primary focus of initial applications of scRNA-seq for characterizing diseased clinical materials on cancer.
