- Abstract
The article investigates the non-isothermal crystallization kinetics and gas permeability of cross-linked and uncross-linked biodegradable nanocomposites of poly(butylenesuccinates) (PBS). The study examined the effects of cross-linking and organically modified layered silicates (OMLS) on non-isothermal crystallization kinetics. Analysis showed the correlation between the crystallization temperatures of the nanocomposites with OMLS content, and between the gas permeability of PBS and OMLS.
