- Abstract
The article focuses on a study which described the synthesis, characteristics and properties of organic/inorganic epoxy hybrids that contain nitrogen/silicon. The study utilized diglycidyl ether of bisphenol A (DGEBA) type epoxy and silane-modified isocyanuric acid triglycidyl ester to prepare the hybrids. It found that trisubstituted siloxane bonds (T3) is a major environment that forms a network structure. The particle size, morphology, and inorganic components of the hybrids are also described.
