- Abstract
The article reports on the study that explores a case of primary poorly differentiated adenocarcinoma in the ocular region with positive immunoreactivity for gross cystic disease fluid protein-15 (GCDFP-15). It shows that polygonal cancer cells with prominent nucleoli and granular eosinophilic cytoplasm were forming a pseudoglandular structure. It suggests that GCDFP-15 is an excellent tissue marker for the apocrine epithelium, while some non-apocrine tissues show immunostaining with GCDFP-15.
