- Abstract
The article presents a study which investigates the effect of nickel on the gonadal histopathology of both sexes of a freshwater tropical perch Colisa fasciatus. The study used laboratory experiments, physico-chemical characteristics of the tap water, and electrical conductivity of the metal. Results show that the histologically testis of Colisa fasciatus possesses lobules of various sizes and shapes held together by thin connective tissue.
