For this study, a total number of 483 naturally dead broiler chickens from eight different private farms of Gonda district were collected during June 2018 – May 2019. Microscopically, the liver of the infected birds revealed extensive haemorrhages, necrosis of hepatic cells and thickening of liver capsule, cellular infiltration and fatty changes.
