- Abstract
Sizing process of terry towel loop warp on cheese dyeing machine was discussed. Mass concentration of sodium hydroxide, mass concentration of surfactant, treatment temperature and treatment time were taken as factors, wicking height was used as response value, a mathematical model was established. According to the model, contour map of each parameter and the corresponding three-dimensional response surface map were drawn by Design Expert software, pretreatment process of loop warp was optimized, influence of pretreatment process on yarn sizing property was tested and analyzed. The results showed that the factors that affected pretreatment process were as follows: mass concentration of surfactant, mass concentration of sodium hydroxide, treatment time and treatment temperature. The optimal pretreatment parameters were mass concentration of sodium hydroxide 4 g/L, mass concentration of surfactant 4 g/L, treatment temperature 92 ℃ and treatment time 32 min. It is considered that sizing property of terry towel loop warp can be obviously improved by the synergistic action of surfactant and sodium hydroxide.
