Examines the effects of acute and chronic treatments with clonidine and flesinoxan on carotid artery diameter in spontaneously hypertensive rats. Relaxation of potassium chloride precontracted aortic segments; Decreased in blood pressure and heart rate; Reduction in carotid artery stiffness.
