- Abstract
The article focuses on property market failure in Dublin along with the role of property tax incentives in urban regeneration with reference to financial crisis in 2008. Ireland has been using selective waivers for many years. To improve the functions delegated to the local level, the use of public funds, devolution of central government responsibilities and creation of public-private partnerships, privately-led urban regeneration has been promoted.
