In this article, the author who is president of Utah State Bar, discusses the changes in the legal profession and admiration for the trial lawyer. Topics discussed include connection of lawyers with government, big business, and law enforcement, social change with the example of the U.S. Supreme Court in the case Brown v. Board of Education of Topeka regarding segregation in schools and Pro Bono Commission and Modest Means Program of the Bar which expand legal services.
