- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 27-year-old man with severe increasing abdominal pain radiating to the back. Topics include computed tomography (CT) of the abdomen being performed suggestive of acute pancreatitis with no focal collection identified; and remaining symptomatic throughout several admissions with epigastric and back pain, tachycardia, nausea and mildly raised inflammatory markers.
