Considers how pregnancy-induced hypertension is one of the most important causes of maternal death in the United States, as well as a major factor in maternal and fetal morbidity. Presents a study, the objective of which is to review the effect of calcium supplementation during pregnancy on blood pressure, preeclampsia, and adverse outcomes of pregnancy.
