- Title
Biatrial, 3-Dimensional Mapping of Human Atrial Fibrillation: Methodology and Clinical Observations.
- Authors

- Abstract
The article discusses the techniques on mapping the human atrial fibrillation (AF), and the new approach in mapping. Considerations were made to achieve 3-dimensional (3D) electroanatomic mapping to overcome the limitation of the catheter mapping techniques. The authors initiated the use of simultaneous biatrial catheter mapping, which provided insights for the organization and diversification of mechanisms in AF initiation. The successful AF mapping in different AF population was allowed due to simultaneous biatrial and non-contact catheter array mapping (NCM).
