- Abstract
The article discusses a study which investigated thyroid function and morphology in patients with Turner's Syndrome (TS). It defines TS as a genetic condition wherein a female respondent does not have the usual pair of two X chromosomes, causing infertility. The study evaluated thyroid volume relative to the patient's stature. Results showed that recurring thyroid hormone variations in TS are due to chronic autoimmune thyroid disease (AITD).
