- Title
RAPID ACID FORMATION RESULTING FROM THE ACTION OF PLAQUE OR SALIVARY SEDIMENT ON SUGARS.
- Authors
TULLAR, PAUL E.
- Abstract
The article focuses on the rapid acid formation resulting from plaque or salivary sediment on sugars in young men. A pilot study on this topic compared the acid-producing powers of the sediment and supernatant fractions of saliva and showed that much of the enzymatic acid-producing power of the saliva seemed to concentrate in the sediment fraction.
