- Abstract
To address the issues of low phosphorus recovery rate, low phosphate concentrate grade, great environmental risk caused by the piling up of phosphate tailings and others in the mid-low grade phosphate processing technology, the integrated technology of calcining mid-low grade phosphate and leaching calcium and magnesium by ammonium nitrate to produce high quality low magnesium phosphate concentrate and to recovery high purity calcium and magnesium products was developed. This technology has no new tailings production and waste water discharge, and the phosphorus recovery rate is more than 99%, P2 O5 grade in phosphate concentrate is 36%~38%, MgO content is 0. 3%~0. 8%, which can meet the requirements of wet and thermal deep processing on the quality of phosphate ore. The recovered high purity calcium carbonate and magnesium hydroxide products creates good conditions for the downstream deep processing industry. It provides strong technical support for the construction of integrated phosphorus-calcium-magnesium industrial chain and innovates to form an environmental protection and green technology for efficient and clean utilization of mid-low grade phosphate ore and phosphate tailings.
