- Abstract
Considering previous researches of progressive visual cryptography were all based upon pixel-expansion and the generated shares were noise like images, this paper proposed a new progressive visual cryptography to produce pixel-unexpanded shares. Based on the algorithm, it used a digital watermarking technique to generate meaningful shares. Compared with previous schemes, the presented scheme can hide images in different meaningful shares providing high security and recovered image with high contrast.
