- Abstract
The article presents a study on the factors that contributes to p-Phenylenediamine (PPD) sensitization. The study performs patch tests among contact dermatitis patients base on sensitivity aetiology including hair dyes, henna tattoos, and unknown. Result shows that henna tattoos and hair dyes exposure are significant risk for the sensitization. Moreover, sensitization for the two cosmetics is prevalent to youngest patients, while sensitization of oldest patients tends to have unknown aetiology.
