- Title
Towards an in vitro culture method for the rainbow trout pathogen Tetracapsuloides bryosalmonae.

- Abstract
The article presents a study which describes the development of in vitro culture techniques in examining the pathogen Tetracapsuloides bryosalmonae in rainbow trout fishes. The researchers have failed in subculturing the PKX cells and promoting parasite replication due to explant degeneration. The study suggests further work to confirm the PKX cell replication by examining its interstitial developmental role in parasite survival.
