- Abstract
The article offers the author's insights regarding the aspects of subclinical hyperthyroidism which is biochemically defined as low suppressed thyrotropin (TSH) with serum free thyroxine (fT4) and triiodothyronine (fT3). Topics discussed include the prevalence of the disease, its classification according to cases, and the adverse consequences of grade I subclinical hyperthyroidism among women aging 65 years, and the risks associated with the condition.
