- Abstract
The article offers information on the risks for veno-occlusive disease (VOD) in allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplantation (alloHCT) in systemic mastocytosis. Topics discussed include Advanced systemic mastocytosis (AdvSM) is associated with shortened survival, alloHCT with durable disease-free has reported survial of majority of patients; and Veno-occlusive disease (VOD) being a potential complication of alloHCT.
