- Abstract
The article discusses the study which analysed genetic stability of micropropagated Ceropegia spiralis, an endangered medicinal plant found in the Western Ghats of India. It mentions that the plant undergo inter simple sequence repeat (ISSR) and random amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD) markers. Result shows the effectiveness of ISSR and RAPD markers for assessing the plant's genetic stability and suggests that the axillary shoot bud proliferation could be used as a micropropagation tool.
