- Abstract
The article discusses the role of immunoassay technology in the protection of human, animal, and environmental health. Health and safety in both developed and more resource-poor developing countries will be improved with the adaptation of the technology to field-portable, point-of-use devices. Immunoassay continues to be an important method in disease diagnostics for both humans and food crops.
