- Abstract
This correction notice addresses an error in a research paper titled "Gut Bacterial Community Determines the Therapeutic Effect of Ginsenoside on Canine Inflammatory Bowel Disease by Modulating the Colonic Mucosal Barrier." The correction involves a mistake in the introduction section where the authors incorrectly stated that dogs are excellent experimental animal models in biomedical research studies and that most diseases in dogs are homologous to humans. The corrected version clarifies that while dogs are commonly used as experimental animal models, there is growing evidence that the dog model may not always be a relevant model for human diseases. The authors apologize for any inconvenience caused, but assure that the scientific conclusions of the paper remain unaffected.
