- Abstract
The article "The Everyday Madness: Mediation with Difficult People in Organizations" deals with the challenge of mediating with difficult individuals in organizations. Warning signs such as lack of personal responsibility, refusal to relinquish control of the process, and skepticism towards mediation are mentioned. Special individuals in difficult life situations require special understanding in mediation. The text describes various challenges and solution strategies within the framework of mediation with difficult people. It is emphasized that the trust between the mediation team and the participants should be strengthened in order to enable successful mediation. If mediation is not successful, an alternative approach such as team supervision or coaching can be considered.
