- Abstract
This study addresses the formal educational dimension of asset activation processes in the Benito Juárez party, Buenos Aires province (Argentina). Based on the contents of the school curriculum, those linked to prehistory, history and local heritage are analyzed in proposals from various teachers. A qualitative methodology was used: interview (teachers, managers and district and regional management authorities) and documentary analysis. The results show what aspects of the local past are recovered in the classroom, how it is linked to cultural heritage, and how the identification and sense of belonging to Benito Juárez is promoted from the school.
