- Abstract
The article focuses on a 48-year-old man with a five-month history of diarrhoea with blood and peri-anal pain. It says that the initial colonoscopy showed severe proctitis with biopsies, which revealed non-specific inflammatory changes. It mentions that the magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of the pelvis has demonstrated peri-rectal fissures extending seven centimeter (cm) from the anal verge. It adds that the patient was diagnosed with Crohn's disease.
