- Abstract
The article discusses complications in treating pseudocysts in the body of pancreas, due to the presence of fistula in main pancreatic duct. A case study of a 39-year-old man is depicted, where fistula, present between the main pancreatic duct and the biliary system, is treated by endoscopic placement of pancreatic stent. Information on how rapture of pseudocysts influences the formation of spontaneous fistulas in pancreatic duct is provided.
