- Abstract
The article cites a study that examines a case of paleoparasitic infection found in the feces of a 15th century child mummy in Yangju, Korea. The researchers collected fecal samples from the rectal tissue and intestinal wall of the mummy during an endoscopic investigation. The samples were investigated under a microscope and researchers found eggs of Clonorchis sinensis, Ascaris lumbricoides, and Trichuris trichiura.
