The article offers a study that examine the risk factors of related to recollapse of the augmented vertebrae after percutaneous vertebroplasty (PVP) treatment for osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures (OVCF). It discussed the factors to prevent recollapse in patients at high risk and mentions the connections of recollapse with co-variates like bone mass density with a T-score, fracture level, fracture type, and cement distribution pattern.
