- Abstract
The article presents the case of an integrated SPECT-CT imaging performed in a 24-year-old patient with primary hyperparathyroidism. The scan revealed an uptake of 99mTc-sestamibi in brown adipose tissue (BAT) over the supraclavicular regions. The article also presents that SPECT-CT is useful for the identification of pathophysiological uptake patterns with SPECT tracers, especially in BAT.
