- Title
GERRY COLGAN in Dublin.
- Abstract
The article talks about the theater industry in Dublin, Ireland. Samuel Beckett led the Gate Theater which elevated the smallest dramatic works to international prominence such as Michael Gambon's "Eh Joe" and "Rockaby" by Sian Phillips. "Krapp's Last Tape" by John Hurt is an imaginative reprise by an old man encountering a former self. "Waiting for Godot" marked the end of the Gate's festival, which is Beckett's vision of humanity and inchoate struggle towards the light.
