- Abstract
The article presents a study which examined the pattern of expression in microRNAs in CD19+ and CD4+ cells from asymptomatic patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). The researchers performed a screening of the expression of 377 miRNAs in human CD4+ and CD19+ cells isolated from the peripheral blood by using a TaqMan Human MicroRNA Array. They found that three miRNAs were differentially expressed in cell population from both patients and controls based on screening assays.
