- Authors
Garcia, J. L. A.
- Abstract
The article discusses several apprehensions attached to racism with reference to social philosophy. Sociologist Michael Banton According to sociologist Michael Banton, the term racism is limited to those people who have faith in biologically based racial hierarchies. The editors of the journal First Things did not favor the total abandonment of the term. Journalist Russell Baker mentioned that charges of racism are as empty as charges of communism.
