- Abstract
The article presents a study which determines the association between haemoglobin and cognitive function in a sample of normal men greater that 75 years of age to examine whether the association differs with age. The study uses veterans who show absence of dementia, and that parallel analysis was performed with diabetes status replacing haemoglobin. Based on results, relationships of haemoglobin with both language and memory show positive relationships that intensified with age.
