- Abstract
The article describes the case of a 7-year-old Angus cow that was examined for fever and apparent respiratory disease. Initial laboratory testing of the cow showed anemia and hypoproteinemia. The cow's blood glucose was also measured in order to confirm the profound hypoglycemia and rule-out the possibility of preanalytical consumption of glucose by the leukocytes.
