- Abstract
GRAPH Hannah Jaumdally The traditional diagnosis for food allergy is based on clinical history in conjunction with skin prick tests (SPT) or quantification of serum-sIgE antibodies to the suspected allergen. BAT has been evaluated (but not validated) in several studies for diagnosing food allergies. Basophil activation test shows high accuracy in the diagnosis of peanut and tree nut allergy: The Markers of Nut Allergy Study.
