- Abstract
The authors presents their response to Richard L. Atkinson's commentary to their article "Genetics of Body Mass Stability and Risk for Chronic Disease: A 28-Year Longitudinal Study, that was published in the "Twin Research and Human Genetics." They agree with Atkinson that human adenovirus-36 (Ad-36) could be another contributor to the current obesity. They reiterates that differences in physical activity, diet, partners, habit or access to health care are not sufficient to explain the obesity epidemic.
