- Abstract
The article discusses the results of a study that examined the early academic career activities of emergency physician (EP) scientists who received grant funding under the Research Project Grant Program (R01) of the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH). It analyzes the curricula vitae (CV) of EP scientists in the U.S. funded NIH. Some activities of EP following completion of training are advanced research training and acquisition of smaller extramural grants.
