- Title
Agora abbauen. Theater als metökische Konstellation.
- Authors
Stenzel, Julia
- Abstract
The article examines theater as a metoic constellation and deconstructs the concept of "Agora" as a fundamental concept of political theory and political theater. It argues that the Agora is not only an exclusive space of political representation, but also a gathering place where coexistence is constantly questioned. Using two theater projects, Azadeh Ganjeh's "environmental performance" and Anna Kpok's solo role-playing game, it explores how theater can deconstruct the Agora and create new Agora spaces. The article also deals with the connection between theater and the city, as well as the possibilities and limitations of democracy.
