Magnetic Field-Assisted Laser Shock Peening of Ti6Al4V Alloy A new strengthening strategy that integrates femtosecond laser shock peening and magnetic field is proposed by Qu Liu, Jianfeng Yan and co-workers in article number 2201843. Dislocation behaviors stimulated by magnetic field serve as potential glide sources for grain refinement during laser-induced plastic deformation.
