- Abstract
The article presents a case study of 10-year-old boy with sudden-onset severe facial pain distributed to the second and third divisions of the left trigeminal nerve. Examinations revealed diffuse high signal intensity indicated mucosal thickening in frontal, ethmoid, and sphenoid sinuses extending to both pterygopalatine fossa and pterygomaxillary fissure. Diagnosis of secondary trigeminal neuralgia (TGN) was made for paranasal sinusitis, which improved facial pain.
