- Abstract
The article summarizes respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) temporal and geographic trends in the U.S. from 2006-2007. RSV infection manifests as bronchiolitis or pneumonia and results to hospitalizations. The number of reporting laboratories and geographic coverage has increased because of data-sharing agreement with Surveillance Data Inc. A total of 69, 230 RSV tests were reported by the laboratories.
