- Abstract
The authors offers their views about the war in Iraq. According to Ian Lustick, chairman of Political Science at the University of Pennsylvania, the war has become politically radioactive. It continues to attract the allegiance of every politician in the country. For him, the war on terrorism exists and protects itself and its uses politicians, universities and industries to do that. The problem with terrorism is that it is low-probability threat but it is difficult to deter, according to Ivan Eland of Independent Institute.
