- Abstract
Anticorrosion and friction-reducing of thermal pipelines are of great significance in the field of heating. A new type of friction-reducing, wear-resistant and heavy-duty anticorrosive coating for thermal pipeline was prepared by using modified epoxy resin, fluoropolymer, anticorrosive pigment and filler, amine curing agent and so on. The performance of the coating was analyzed by differential scanning calorimeter, salt spray test, high temperature boiling, electrochemical impedance analysis, surface contact angle analysis, surface roughness analysis and the friction reduction performance of the coating was evaluated through actual engineering projects. The prepared friction-reducing and wear- resistant coating has good anticorrosive performance, mechanical strength, smooth coating surface, low surface energy and excellent hydrophobicity. It can significantly reduce the friction resistance between water and pipeline during transportation, improve the heating and heat transfer efficiency (more than 30 % in average) and show significant economic benefits.
