- Abstract
A total of 62 individuals of Ingerophrynus parvus were collected from three different sites within a 12-month period at Sungai Papan in Royal Belum State Park, Perak, Malaysia. The sampling was conducted using both drift-fenced pitfall traps and visual encounter survey. Snout-vent length and body weight of the Ingerophrynus parvus were measured and recorded. The length-weight relationships of Ingerophrynus parvus were examined and compared between different sampling sites, sexes, and seasons using the formula ln W = ln a + b ln TL. The objective of the present study is to understand the growth patterns and community biomass of Ingerophrynus parvus in Royal Belum State Park between different seasons and sites at Sungai Papan. The result showed that the length-weight relationship of Ingerophrynus parvus differed between sexes at different seasons and location. The growth pattern of Ingerophyrnus parvus varied seasonally and was affected by the environmental factors of their selected habitats.
